Join us as we launch a new exhibition in the Rustad Galleria featuring work by Wendy Framst.
Thursday, January 30 – 7:30-9:00pm
Always free to attend and all are welcome!
Watercolour paintings and graphite drawings of sights from around the world are shared through this exhibition of work by Prince George artist, Wendy Framst. Her travels have taken her to Paris, Mexico, the Netherlands, Tunisia, and Scotland. During these adventures, Framst finds inspiration in architecture, people, and seemingly mundane objects. She photographs sights, people, and small details that make an impression. Upon returning home, her photographs serve as source material for future work. Postcards from my Walkabouts speaks to the impact travel can have on an individual, as well as the value of returning home after a fulfilling journey.
Featured artwork: Puento de Alegria (Bridge of Joy), 2019. Watercolour on paper.
