Children’s interactive gallery on its way to the Exploration Place

A permanent Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) gallery is being installed for the Exploration Place’s youngest guests!

The new exhibit will give kids the opportunity to get their hands on different fixtures and activities that are designed to get them excited about learning.

This addresses the need for more hands-on kids activities, which has been a common piece of feedback the Exploration Place has received since the major renovation took place.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Y.P. Heung Foundation for their continued support and for helping us bring these educational experiences to our community,” said Exploration Place Executive Director Alyssa Leier. “This new space will not only add to our current offerings but also reaffirm our dedication to listening to our community and making The Exploration Place a welcoming and engaging place for visitors of all ages.”

Y.P. Heung also supported the museum through the 2021 renovation.

The addition will start to be assembled in the early new year. The museum is looking for additional sponsors to contribute to the new gallery. Anyone interested can email the Exploration Place at info@theexplorationplace.com.
