Celebrate Halloween at Northern Routes locations!

The leaves have turned, the days are getting shorter, and Halloween is almost here!

Many Northern Routes sites are throwing special Halloween events for all ages:

Huble Homestead – Halloween Spooktacular

The Halloween Spooktacular is Huble Homestead’s final event of the year! You can explore the site, carve a pumpkin, watch a magic show, and even win a prize for your costume!

There will also be an eerie maze, haunted graveyard, and the Huble House of Horrors (12+) to explore. Warm up in the General Store with a hot drink afterwards, make smores around the fire, or enjoy other special items on the Halloween menu!

This event will run from 3:00 to 8:00 on Saturday, October 26th! Admission is by donation – you can learn more here.

Railway and Forestry Museum – Pumpkin Express

Board the Pumpkin Express, pick up a free pumpkin for carving, do a Halloween craft, play some family games, and explore the Railway and Forestry Museum!

This event is free to attend, but non-perishable food items are being accepted at the door to be donated to a local food bank.

This event will run on October 26th and 27th from 11:00 – 4:00. You can learn more here.

Exploration Place – Early Explorers & Halloween Fun

The Exploration Place is holding two Halloween events – one for the museum’s youngest visitors, and an all-day event leading up to the big night.

Young learners aged 3-5 are invited to the museum for a one hour session (9:30-10:30, October 29) where they will be introduced to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM).

Parents or caretakers will be required to stick around for the session. Learn more here.

Special events are planned all day at the Exploration Place on Halloween (October 31). You can find the full schedule and learn more here.

Two Rivers Gallery

Come and make a special craft just in time for the big night!

Two Rivers Gallery is welcoming guests to make a spooky centerpiece decoration out of recycled materials on October 29th from 1:00 – 2:30. Learn more here.
