MakerLab Youth Immersion – a celebration 10 months in the making
On September 24 the MakerLab Youth Immersion Exhibition opened at Two Rivers Gallery’s Rustad Galleria.
MakerLab Youth Immersion is a program for youth ages 15 to 20. For ten months they come together every Thursday evening during the gallery’s MakerLab and learn from mentors, artists and elders. The youth are introduced to a variety of media, including wood turning, drum making, 3D printing, silver clay and laser engraving. This annual exhibition celebrates the hardwork and dedication of both the youth and their mentors, exhibiting their works side by side.
A new session of MakerLab Youth Immersion is starting in October. Interested youth can still apply online!
