Bring Art & Making into Your Home!
While Two Rivers Gallery is closed right now for in person programs, their amazing team are working to connect with the community virtually. Sunday Open Studio and MakerLab are two regular drop in programs that have made the leap online!
On Sundays you can join Public Programmer Anna-Maria Lawrie for a new hands-on project each week. All of the activities that she introduces use basic household supplies, making it easy for anyone to join in and get creative!
Sunday Open Studio Online: Homemade Paint
Every Thursday evening MakerLab Coordinator, Briana Sadler, leads a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) activity. Most recently MakerLab Online launched a weekly TinkerCad challenge for all ages. . Makers can design their own object in 3 dimension using the online CAD (Computer Aided Design) program, TinkerCad (a free online software program). Makers can then send it to Briana and she will randomly choose one design to be printed each week!
MakerLab Online: Origami Blooming Heart
All of the videos are free and can be found at tworiversgallery.ca or on Facebook. You can create your own origami heart, learn to make paint, and more!
