Join us as we launch a new exhibition in the Rustad Galleria featuring work by Pat Gauthier, who will give a short artist talk that evening.

Ranchscapes is a collection of paintings inspired by Pat Gauthier’s experience owning and operating a cattle ranch with her partner in Fort St James, BC. Gauthier began this body of work in an effort to capture fleeting, everyday moments. This exhibition includes depictions of cattle on pasture, horses resting in winter light, and frost covered fields. Now retired from ranching, this subject matter continues to interest her. Ranchscapes communicates the beauty Gauthier has found in rural living and ranching.
